# Update 12 - Nov 20, 2024

We’re delighted to unveil our latest digital twin template (ISCC Plus method) alongside several enhancements to the minting workflow in Carbon Central. These updates offer greater flexibility, especially for users minting tokens aligned with real-world production batches.

### New Features and Improvements

* **ISCC Plus System Template**

  In collaboration with Global Resource Recovery (GRR), we’ve launched a new template to support the creation of ISCC-aligned certificates. This template integrates seamlessly with site meters to monitor the production or recycling of sustainable products. In our use case with GRR, it facilitates the tracking of Glycol reclamation.

  The ISCC Plus digital twin methodology enables you to:

  * Connect directly with key machinery in the production chain.
  * Log production data on the blockchain, including voluntary GHG emissions calculations.
  * Mint tokens representing one unit (e.g., tonne, kilogram) of your product.<br>
* **Manual Minting**\
  We’ve improved the token minting workflow to provide users with the ability to align minting directly with manual real-world batches. With our self-service token minting configuration, you can now choose to manually trigger minting when needed.

  Within Batch Management, manual minting allows you to mint tokens for all production during a specific batch start and end time. For details on automated minting, refer to our previous update.<br>

* **Other improvements**\
  We’ve further enhanced the platform to ensure faster loading times. When using Carbon Central you'll notice a more responsive feel.
