# Upgrading to use paid features

**Unlock Premium Features with a Paid Subscription**

We're excited to have you onboard. While our platform offers a range of valuable features for free, some of the most powerful tools and capabilities require a paid subscription to access, enabling you to unlock the full potential of Carbon Central.

**Why Upgrade?**

By upgrading to a paid subscription, you gain access to an array of premium features including Tokenisation and Carbon Reporting. You also gain increased limits across our tools including increased projects, digital twins and users. Our paid subscription ensures you get the most out of Carbon Central.

## **Understanding Carbon Central Subscriptions:**

Carbon Central subscriptions are comprised of two components:

1. **Monthly Subscription Price:** Unlocking access to all premium features and limits.
2. **Tokenisation:** This component is charged on a per-usage basis, with pricing scaling to offer reduced rates with higher usage volumes. Tokenisation volumes reset monthly.
