This latest update focuses on improving data traceability, expanding customisation options, and streamlining the digital twin setup experience. From enhanced formula capabilities to support for new block types, these updates are designed to provide more precision, flexibility, and clarity for your sustainability tracking
Expanded Formula Support and Query Blocks We’ve introduced new capabilities to use formulas based on instantaneous data from batch blocks, making manual minting more accurate and aligned with real world processes. A new block type – Query Blocks – allows for data aggregation using formulas such as min, max, or sum, adding greater flexibility to your digital models. These changes are backed by improvements to the minting engine and digital twin schema to support complex calculations.
Customisable Block Interfaces You can now tailor the appearance and content of digital twin blocks by setting custom titles, icons, and editable fields. Tools make it easy to select key metrics, apply units of measurement conditionally, and reference previous metric blocks. We've also added note-taking capabilities within blocks, making it easier to document configurations or link external references for context.
Enhanced Digital Twin Setup and Management We’ve made it easier to set up and manage digital twins through various tweaks and utilities. The Add Digital Twin form has been simplified, and default configurations for templates like GRR have been refined. Backend processes have also been improved to streamline batch management and improve mainnet support.
We’ve refined several interface elements to improve usability: Floating labels have been introduced across dropdowns and text areas for a cleaner input experience. Scrollbars, modals, and nested buttons have been polished for smoother navigation. Utilities cleaned up for faster rendering and better responsiveness.
As always, we’re committed to continuously improving Carbon Central to better serve your needs. Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the coming months!
Thank you for your continued interest and support as we innovate for a more sustainable future.
