# Update 3 - Feb 26, 2024

We are thrilled to announce the release of our highly anticipated update: Digital Twins. With this latest enhancement, you can now use Carbon Central to seamlessly monitor production facilities and buildings, while effortlessly creating tokenised carbon assets or carbon credits. All digital twins in Carbon Central are supported by on-chain, trusted, and transparent data at every step.

With Digital Twins, your business gains unparalleled trust and transparency over the integrity of carbon projects.

### New Features

* **Digital Twins!**\
  Our largest update to Carbon Central yet! This foundational digital twin release gives us the framework to rapidly add support for various Standards and Methodologies in the coming months. We create a template by mapping each requirement of a Standard and Methodology to Carbon Central blocks. \
  Blocks let you attach your methodology requirements including manual reporting, audit reports, and other evidence to your twin. You can also replicate automated processes by integrating meters from production facilities, vehicles, buildings and more. Using these direct data sources and integrations, you can create comprehensive evidence-based carbon assets for your selected standard.\
  Reach out to our support team to explore how we can assist in adding a template for your unique carbon project.
* **Biochar Template**\
  As part of our launch, we have included a Biochar template for the Puro Standard Biochar Methodology V2 2022. This template enables the generation of evidence tokens for CO2 Removal Certificates (evidence CORCs) by capturing structured manual input data, and automated feedstock input.

This new feature is engineered to provide Carbon Central with a comprehensive understanding of your project, facilitating the creation of a distinct trust chain through our Tokenisation feature. This feature is available by invitation only in beta. If you are interested in trialling your use case, along with a digital twin, please contact our team.  <br>

### Improvements

* **Enhanced Device Support**\
  We've improved our support for devices with smaller screens, optimising the appearance of information and forms for mobiles and tablets. Please note that the digital twin feature is accessible only on larger devices.
